Division I — ProteinSquab, the featured line
The Protein Division's feature bird: pigeon (squab) — halal, product of France, listed whole — with the quail range beside it in the same request.
Squab is the smallest bird in the catalog and the one chefs ask about by name. The line here is pigeon (squab): halal, product of France, listed whole — the same bird under both of its trade names, for buyers whose order sheets and menus use either one.
It is carried as the division's featured product because demand for it is steady and specific. Fine-dining kitchens run squab as a signature plate, and specialty retailers stock it as the premium bird in the game case.
Squab tolerates no vagueness about facts — origin, form, and how the bird is listed — because menus and price-per-plate math are built on them. The listing here is exact, and the quote you receive is written against exactly this specification. It quotes through the same desk and travels in the same request as the quail range, which is how most squab programs are actually bought: squab for the feature plate, quail for the depth of the game set.
| Product | Detail | Pack / Format |
|---|---|---|
| Pigeon (Squab) | Halal · Product of France | Whole |
Fine-dining and hotel kitchens run squab as a signature plate, bought for portion discipline — one bird, one plate. Specialty and halal retailers stock it as the premium bird in the game case. Distributors building a game program add squab to the quail range so one supplier conversation covers the whole bird section.
